On this date in 1942 gasoline rationing was mandated in 17 Eastern states as part of the expanding war effort. By year’s end, President Roosevelt would mandate rationing for the entire nation. We’re not rationing the fun, and in fact it’s free for the taking with this week’s Mystery Car contest. Fill up on it and guess the identity of the above car or truck. Make and model if you please.
