Groovy…?
I’m sure I’ve seen a Diablo taped on the side of a van, but this is the closest I could find right now http://jonsibal.com/bpimages/van_2.jpg -
Also I went on the youtubes and got lost again.. and ended up listening to this hippy themed Russian song about summer. i think. or Hop Naranaynaynay, as the refrain goes.
It seems about as deep as Las Ketchup’s greatest hits, but I can’t stop listening to it. Even though her voice is deeper than what I usually like and the instruments they are playing are not connected to anything. And I can’t understand a word of what she’s singing. There’s also a VW camper, ladies kissing, guys on stilts playing ukuleles, and dancing in a lake. https://youtu.be/gweN-Qn1ECo-
That’s actually very cool. I like most of the Russian music others have introduced me to, even the really cheezpolitation groups like t.A.T.u. and Dinama…
But Ksenona and Vitas doing a shlocky duet ballad = ultimate Russian pop music expression of overdrive!

As long as we’re talking Russian earworms, this is one that has stuck with me for whatever reason. Guy’s voice is a bit raspy for my liking, but man is it catchy.
(I love this place, by the way — nominally car-themed post leads to a comment about a hippie-themed Russian pop song, and the commentariat just rolls with it. Come to think of it, I might have actually come across the song above because of a commenter here posting another song of theirs, “Energia”.)
