It’s been unseasonably warm here in LA the past week. No, let me reframe that, it’s been freakin’ hotter ‘an hell here. And like bears waking from their snowy slumbers, so too are the sports cars emerging from their winter keeps. My ever vigilant daughter caught this sweet MGA out for a cruise on Pasadena’s famed Colorado Boulevard this past Sunday and was able to catch a snap while stopped at a light.
I thought it looked pretty cool to begin with, but even better with some oldie timey sepia tone making it look like it just rolled out of Satori’s which was once just down the street and was Pasadena’s purveyor of all things fun and sporty.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

A MK 2 if the tail lights are original. I have mixed feelings about chrome wires AND whitewalls, but the black exterior pulls it off pretty well.
I would tend to agree, but this works. Sometimes, clearly too much is still utterly beautiful…

Blessed are the paper map holders, for they know the secrets of the back roads.
That is to say, I notice g**gle maps is showing even less information at a given resolution than before. That’s okay with me, if you don’t know where the best roads are then I, like g**gle, don’t think you should.
(Clearly, canyon carvers are in charge over there at g**gle maps, and are dutifully keeping The Paths of The Righteous away from the Philistines.)
