This probably belongs on Wagon Wednesday, but it’s kind of a minivan, and a minivan is kind of a truck, so it works, right?
This Mini is a Clubman, built by Leyland Australia. The Mini was sold under different makes and licenses throughout the years, and in myriad configurations. You could have a Mk I This one is an estate, and doesn’t it look a treat on that putrid green and pink checkered floor?
From the ad:

I remember the first time I drove a Mini. It was 2002, and I was in Stirling, Scotland for the summer between my sophomore and junior years in college. On a back road in the Scottish countryside, our host pulled off the road and let me take the wheel. I don’t remember if it was a Mk I or II, but I remember the ride, and I remember telling my friends how it felt like a 4-speed go-kart. It was an absolute blast. It’s a shame we didn’t get any photos that day. I have no idea how this Mini van rides, but I bet it’s slow-car-fast good times.
So, it’s small, it’s slow, it’s yellow, but it’s not a Beetle. I’m sold, but what about you? Is this another rare but not desirable car, or is this little Oz a steal at $9,500?
