Welcome to Craigslist Crapshoot, our weekly search for the most bizarre, awesome, and/or terrible vehicles that the online classifieds has to offer. Last week I asked you to all become X-men (and women) and find all the Novas, Venturas, Omegas, and Apollos you could find, both normal and mutant. We’ll see if X marks the spot in a sec, but first this week’s assignment!
This week, let’s get personal, as in personal luxury coupes. The bigger the better and – here’s the kicker – I want them to be manual transmission equipped. I’ll bet you didn’t see that one coming.
And as usual, we want your finds to go down in infamy and not in the site’s spam filter. Follow any of the following advice and you’re crap will be known far and wide.
- Easiest way to not get caught in the spam filters is to create an IntenseDebate account. If you do so and your posts aren’t appearing, let us know at ti**@********se.info and we can put you on the whitelist
- If you don’t want an IDC account, you can create a wordpress.com account and do the same thing.
- If you’re the Ted Kaczynski type and don’t want any kind of account, then try to place only a single link in a comment and just drop any outgoing link in via its raw URL and not as a text link
Some questionable styling choices were made for this Thunderbird, but it's hard to argue with its go-fast bits.

This 225hp TT will, according to the ad copy, "never slip and slide." Clearly the owner isn't pushing hard enough in the corners. Their light right foot is your gain if you want to tackle the replacement clutch in a year or two (I hear the special dual-mass flywheels are cheap).

With grass underneath it, it's anyone's guess.
Ok so here is my issue with the second one. I thought the manual was only an option on about 400 of the original mid 70's XJS's. That they basically existed for the sake of car reviews and to give them reviewers a car that was faster then the normal stock one.

What's up with Intense debate adding IMG tags to links? Please remove these to get partly English version of MobileDE website.
It's been doing that for years whenever a link follows an image. The trick is either to avoid the practice or to go back immediately and edit it before someone "locks" it with a response. IntenseDebate doesn't add it again after it's been removed manually.

I'd forgotten about those. Nice find.
I did not, but I did know that when the 3.4L DOHC V6 was introduced on the facelifted version a few years later, it was available with a 5-speed. The same drivetrain was offered in two of the three other GM10 coupes, the Lumina Z34 and Grand Prix GTP.
I had a 5 speed '89 Grand Prix with the 2.8 v6 and my mother had the '90 Grand Prix with the 3.1 V6. It had the most rubbery shifter. I miss that car so much.
