Clarion is a creator and seller of automotive audio and navigation systems, amongst other things. Clarion is also a company that clearly loves cars, because it recently completed a build of a BMW 2002. The new program is called Clarion Builds, and it’s taking older vehicles and injecting new life into them. The first car in the program turned out rather wonderful, and now Clarion has its sights set on something new to tackle.
Say hello to this 1991 Acura NSX, which is in need of some love and attention.
Clarion have found this first-year example that shows 230,000 miles on its odometer. The paint is worn. The car has some dents, and the interior needs attention. The whole car is going to get attention in the form of appropriate and tasteful performance upgrades.
Yes, of course there will be an audio system upgrade too, because it’s Clarion after all. We have no complaints there, as listening to crisp clean music makes going for a great drive that much better.
We’re going to keep an eye on this one, as the NSX is a bit near and dear to all of our hearts. Additionally, we’re angling for some seat time with that BMW 2002 that’s already finished up. Stay tuned for that, and possibly even a bit more.

Taking older vehicles and injecting new life into them?
They should inject life into a 1962 IH Scout 80 RHD 2WD. I think I know someone whose got one gone wanting. -
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for my RX-7…
