Hooniverse is the automotive equivalent of the friends chanting “do it! do it!” when you’re considering jumping into the pool from the second story roof. Back in 2014, Jim Brennan featured this brown AMC Hornet Sportabout Wagon out of Phoenix. Kevin reached out to us this week to let us know he bought it from that listing. I just want to point out those interior arm rest/handle things are the same part that’s used on a Wagoneer. Love that AMC parts bin!

Not a bad little ride for right around $3k. Anyway, I still contend it needs the angriest breathed-on 4.7L stroker straight six you could build backed by the beefiest stickshift that’ll bolt up to it.
