The 2014 New York International Auto Show is… kind of a snoozer. There really isn’t anything that we haven’t seen before, nothing earth shattering, nothing amazing. Or perhaps we’re just jaded, I’m not sure. This is the reason why we’re going to look at some sporty vehicles which we’ve seen before, but that are worth a second look.
The Alfa Romeo gets a very important upgrade, the headlights. It’s not more perfect. There is more good news, at 6’2″ I easily fit into it and there was enough headroom for me to put a helmet on.
The trunk is the the back (duh), but TopGear said that the front hood/bonnet does not open. The thing is, it looks like it could open, but we have not confirm if in fact it does open. Stay tuned.
The new Lexus RC-series looks great in person, I’m even ok with the weird tailpipes.
Targa. Want.
Dat ass.
Kia Stinger GT Concept, introduced some time ago, looks great in person.
Nissan’s Sport Sedan Concept. Clever name, clearly chasing after what the Maxima once was.
GLA 45 AMG. Jury is still out on that.
The M3 sedan, not to be confused with the M4, which is a coupe, looks stunning in person. Its looks are removed from it’s plebeian just enough to make it stand out to some, but be ignored by most.
