Someone in Poland drives a Lamborghini LM002 daily

You know those series I do about the various cars in Poland? Yes, that one. And that one. And many others. Well, I do them because each time I see something that just blows my mind, and today is no exception. Someone sent me a link to Polish blog that posted the images of this Lambo. It started a conversation on the Polish reddit, known as Wykop.pl. There the commentators found out that it was registered as a farm machine, which I guess it could be. And which I guess is a bit of a sneaky to avoid some taxes, I’m guessing.

It’s probably not as big and intimidating as it once was.

Whatever the case is, it’s awesome to see one of those actually running, no matter where in the world it may be.

I dig the parking. Is that gravel between the zig-zag concrete?

There’s a fair amount of that in the Pacific Northwest, as it allows rain water to percolate. It looks especially nice when the margins fill with green moss, although it can get a bit slick.

Many communities here have annual fees on sealed surface (tarmac), as this requires drainage handling on their side. These semi-permeable blocks allow the rain water to sink in without washing the road, allowing for a higher quality water permittable to become ground water (local drainage system only) – which is very often the main source for drinking water in many regions.
I’m no expert, but that’s what I remember.

Looks even better with grass growing inbetween. To mark parking spots you simply drop inserts into the holes when needed. We have a lot of those around here.

That’s likely the nicest looking parking lot I’ve ever seen!

I feel like such a wimp, worried about getting parts for a four year old Saab 9-4X.

The answer to all the questions is Lacrosse and maybe SRX

There is no reason that all 4×4 vehicles shouldn’t look like this. None.

He’s a brave man if he drives it at all. Remember that the 325/65 VR17 Pirelli Scorpion tires are unique to the LM, and you won’t find them for sale anywhere. Every six years or so, Pirelli makes a new batch of them to order. I heard that Countach owners have the same problem.

These are not orig. rims and tires on the photos above. Tire is SUV winter tire of some sort. Owner has done a good job on finding very orig. looking rims for the monster.

I remember a quote from a Car and Driver (I think) article on these from back in the day that went something like this:
“It looks like a stylist on recreational pharmaceuticals carved it out of a single block of modeling clay by swinging a dull meat axe.”
    Seems about right.

That’s awesome, I wonder what spare parts for it look like

My guess is that the Polish DMV had two tick boxes for the make Lamborghini: Sports car and Tractor. Well, it’s certainly not a sports car, so… Down here in Texas we have Farm Truck license plates which have a much lower registration cost provided you meet certain criteria for primarily agricultural business use. About two years ago I saw a Lincoln Mark LT pickup (ultra-fancy F150) with Farm Truck plates in my rural-ish suburban neighborhood.
