Last Call: Peter Wolf's Lustworthy Garage

By LongRoofian Apr 1, 2011

Who’s Peter Wolf? How the hell should I know? I found this image while cruising around these tubes after some Hooniverse Drunkcast fairly recently but this olelongrooffan can’t really remember where. However, I do challenge all of my fellow Hoons to find something in this image, whether vehicular or structural, that does not get you a bit excited. Bonus points for identifying all the vehicles in this image. Syrax…you must be blindfolded for this exercise.

No biography of the LongRoofian would be complete without [edited for length and adherence to subject matter] and your continued enjoyment of these ramblings is certainly welcome.

    1. Nah. THAT Peter Wolf is probably living in Malibu with his 30-something third wife and drives a Prius.

    1. If it's not the Ozark Mountain Daredevils, i pretty much don't know band members….but based on the id I have for this image… benzin-buch traumgaragen I doubt the J. Geils Band is involved here…

  1. There's a well-known Austrian producer by the name of Peter Wolf. He made a lot of '80s hits, including the dreaded "We Built This City" and "Everybody Have Fun Tonight". These might be his cars. Left to right:
    Peugeot 203 Commerciale
    Jaguar XK120 or XK140
    Citroen Traction Avant
    Mini Traveller
Can't tell you about the motorcycle or bicycle.

    1. Everything done before I got a hold of my blindfold! I'd just like to add the small fragment of a silver Megane hatch's ass on the left. I'm still working on the one behind the Citroen.

          1. I think so. What you're seeing is the back left side. Earlier cars didn't have the quarter window.

    1. Well, that was my first thought when I saw the name, the guy from the J. Geils Band.
But I'm thinking this is a different Peter Wolf. The one we Umurricuns know is probably living in Malibu with his 30-something third wife, and drives a Prius.

  2. Re. challenge
Non-exciting objects: mailbox, road markings, 1970's brown ceramic tiles with fading effect……
