For some, the Dodge Challenger/Charger bumper covers are simply a stylistic choice. It’s their ride. Let them be. For others, it’s a crime against humanity. The team at Proving Grounds knows how it all starts though… if you use bumper covers, you’ll have kids who use bumper covers.

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.
TV car and character mismatches…an even worse offense in an advanced society than bumper covers. This is supposed to be a lawyer’s car:

Mk2 Euro Focus? If it weren’t for the added low, I wouldn’t question it necessarily, but you’re right that just looks weird, especially since someone made an active decision to do so.
I knew a solicitor who used to drive an S13 Nissan, so meh.
You can’t outrun the law, but you can do donuts round it with the right representation.
Right parent company, wrong badge — everyone knows lawyers drive Lincolns.

I’ll say it again, even if the covers are a bad idea (being bad for the car), why does FCA hate money?

We’re talking about the company that makes these, not a classic work of art. I’m not sure a painted yellow stripe on the lower edge of the bumper is where I’d draw the line as too far.

Hey gang! It’s been a while but I have a bit of news to share. Not sure if y’all know about the recent corporate happenings by the overlords of Jellopicnik but things are going sideways. About a year ago I bought a certain URL because the price was right and proceeded to not do a thing with it until now. With the future of Oppo potentially in jeopardy, it felt like it was high time to get off my tuchas and actually do something. Anyway, I just wanted to share it here with you all. At a high level, my plan is to implement a multi-author platform that supports community blogging, moderation, and all that is needed to preserve the silliness we’ve built there over the years so that the community itself can control its own destiny and not be at the whim of the vulture capitalists currently chooching everything up. Have a look. Disqus is enabled.

You could just move everything and everyone to Hooniverse if you lose interest or it will not fly for some reason.
Problem there is I need to replicate Oppo’s “everyone’s an author” infrastructure and Hooniverse doesn’t have it. There’s also a pretty deep community affinity for the name itself. I have a bead on a platform that may work. Just in feature/cost evaluation mode right now.
