Last Call: Even $220,000 Automobiles Need This

By LongRoofian Jan 8, 2011

I posted this image on Fastback Friday and mentioned you could probably pick this wrecked $220,000 Ferrari pretty cheaply. Look at the damage to this exotic racecar, broken spoiler mount, cracked engine cover, damaged rear bumper, tail light dangling, etc.

Yes, that's the driver who offed it looking on

Well today, while I was out at the Daytona International Speedway, I spotted this Ferrari out on the track totally repaired and looking as new.
Later, when I was over in the garage area, I spotted it and captured the image seen after the jump. As this olelongrooffan had already determined the Ten Thousand and First use of this product, I am going to call this the Ten Thousand and Second.

Maybe I should submit this to ThereIFixedIt.com

No biography of the LongRoofian would be complete without [edited for length and adherence to subject matter] and your continued enjoyment of these ramblings is certainly welcome.

Aaha! But that's not the ubiquitous air-handling fowl stuff, that looks more like Scotch 88T (all weather telephone/vinyl plastic
tape)! I can tell by the width, and by seeing many tape jobs in my time.."
    Too much meme?

    Ok- one more. " Here on Hoon-rakis, it's sticky-power…"

  2. Looks like Speed Tape to me. Part of its value is in how quickly an adequate, marginally lasting repair can be effectuated.
