Do you remember the 2008 Volkswagen EcoRacer? Yeah, me neither. Still, it seems that the TDI-powered concept, which was penned by the Spanish designer Carlos Muntada, was in fact once a thing. And yes, that windscreen rises and lowers for street or track duty. Funky!

Is it a waste of time to wrap my car’s low-pressure A/C line in insulated tubing or heat wrap?
I’ll have to make sure it can still drain some condensation, or it’ll just be a wet mess. But I really only need it to work for about two months, then who cares until next summer.
Honda didn’t see fit to install one on my Civic, but I’ll seriously take any degree of A/C performance I can get. This thing sucks!-
I don’t know. I think if it had been worth doing, the manufacturer would have done it. My worry would be trapping moisture against aluminum tubing, possibly setting it up for corrosion.

If you seal out the hot humid air, there should be no condensation. It will just be cold under the foam. its worth a try.

Never seen any race car look like this!
Apparently it is called the GEK – Ground Effect Kawasaki.
It’s all home brew and all recycled.-
Looks interesting, probably inspired by Formula SAE/Student cars that can have some pretty radical aero to work at low speeds

The first car that comes to mind is the Austin Healey 100, but it would have to be a short list!
