Last Call- Changing of the Guards Red Edition

Changes

The Austin Healey in the back went out of production in 1967. Less than a year later Ferrari debut the 365 GTB/4 in front. One year, two vastly different takes on the hairy chested sports car theme.

Call me mad, but I like the 365 GTC/4 more than the Daytona. It's my favorite of the V12 front engined Ferraris.

Oh no I totally get it, I've always had a soft spot for the 456, considering it's one of the most recent cars you can get with pop-up headlamps. Everything should have pop-up headlamps.

The 456GT is a very understated Ferrari. Which is a good thing, imho. The early 90s Pininfarina styling is showing, as it looks like the big brother of the similarly lined Peugeot 406 coupe.

I am a Ferrari nut, but my tastes have run to the more modern models.
However, the 365 GTC/4 pushes all of the right buttons for me. Love this car.

The Big Healey was quite long in the tooth by the time it went out of production. Jerry Coker and Donald Healey came up with the profile of the car in what, 1950 or 1951? Don't get me wrong, I love mine (1960 BT7) and think it's rolling mechanical art.
That's an excellent picture. Sports car bar buyers in the late 60s sure had a lot of style choices.
Anyone want to trade me a 365 GTB/4 for a very handsome, fine running Healey?

OT for the night- The Coyote Drive In in FtWorth is open and playing some awesome double features…
Back to the Future and Jaws
Ferris Bueller and Raiders of the Lost Ark
and on screen #3, Grease and American Graffiti.
All I need is a '55 Chevy and a gal with loose morals!

My eyes are on that '59 Skyliner, although preferably without the fuzzy dice and drive-in tray of fake food.

Am I the only one who thinks the Daytona looks terrible? All of my friends think I'm crazy…
I think the 250 GTO is the most gorgeous thing to ever come from Italy… Miura is a close second…

Yes, you are crazy. I can see you liking other Ferraris, or other cars, more. That's fine, but the 365 is flat out gorgeous.
