Apparently this happened on a stretch of I90 in Coeur D’Alene Idaho on Sunday, on a 108° day. The options for those without A/C in their cars were to sweat or get stung. Over 1,000,000 bees got away in the accident, so bee on the lookout.

As someone who has hit a swarm of bees before I can say a warning would have been nice.
Luckily I didn’t get stung but coming around a corner, seeing a dark shadow at eye level followed by blaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaap! can be a little surprising. Good thing I had just refilled the windshield washer reservoir.
They made a movie about this didn’t they? But it wasn’t as good as it could have been – not an A movie then, more of a ….
