For some inexplicable reason, seeing a horribly modified, bewinged Accord coupe out my window reminded me of its automotive polar opposite: the tasteful, classic, and dangerously fast Alpine A110. Make the jump to watch a couple of videos of the A110 in action.
The first involves the A110 in its element – drifting through a sandy course. Tres magnifique!

This second film is a little longer, with narration en Francais for our Francophone friends. Come for the pictoral summary of Alpine’s legendary ’73 season, stick around for some slow motion vintage rally footage, including a lovely moment where a Datsun Z-car drifts gracefully through a snowy turn.
