Our good pal, regular podcat guest, and occasional tame racing driver Duncan Ende has cofounded Icarus Racing to fly the American flag in the TCR International Series in 2017. I’ve mentioned the TCR series before here since you can watch all of it for free on the web and I’m pretty excited to see Duncan driving one of Icarus’ two SEAT León TCR cars. This is Duncan’s first foray into touring cars and, if I remember correctly from a conversation with him, the first time he’s ever raced a front-wheel-drive car. Given his range of experience in GT and prototype cars, we think he’ll do just fine. Hopefully, we can talk to him about it throughout the year on The DFL Show and you can bet we’ll be tuned in throughout the TCR calendar.
