Can I Haz Police Car Riding?

By Robert Emslie May 3, 2010

Crikey, what's that howling, I already turned the siren off?

Falcons are predatory birds, eating small mammals and other birds, and it looks like their Ford namesakes’ are equally untrustworthy around small animals.

Shhh, I Iz Hiding From Da Copz!

Fortunately, this Falcon prefers Vegemite sandwiches to kitten pancakes so blackie’s pretty safe. Still, can’t have any ride-alongs on this police car, so out he’ll have to go. Also, a police car is bad enough luck for the baddies, the cops bringing a black cat along isn’t even fair.
Free At Last, Free At Last, Lord Almighty, I'm Free At Last.

Two things to take away from this; a little cat can get into big trouble, and Aussie cops drive some bangin’ cool cop cars. Can I haz Ford Falcon?

    1. Or I would just buy all of my cars from Detroit PD auctions. Those wheels look like the ones on the F6 typhoon too [drool]

  1. Had a stray living in my garage for about 3 days. On the third day it hid somewhere in the bottom of the wife's car. We found this out when driving down the street (25mph) and heard a thunk. The view in the mirror showed the cat tumbling/running away unscathed.

  2. When I was a baby, our family cat rode to the local hospital and back in the engine bay of our neighbor's car.
There was a rain storm, and he'd climbed in there to get dry/warm. In the wake of that experience, he associated rain storms with riding in car engine bays (bad), so whenever it started raining he ran to the geometric center of the house and hid.
ah…Murray the cat. Found in a ditch as a kitten, had numerous experiences like that and lived to be about 17.

    1. My dad had a white cat named Maynard. Same deal, went to town infront of the rad on the farm truck. It was all down hill from there for him.

  3. This story had a much happier ending than what I thought had happened. The first photo looks like either the radiator or windshield wiper reservoir was damaged and is leaking. Cats can do some serious damage when cruising home in the wife's Civic at 40 MPH. Not that that has happened to me lately…
