has to be one of the training tracks at the Bonuraunt (sp?) driving school at the old Firebird Raceway south of Phoenix. been there many times for the drags, but never for the school.

thought process was like this: another kart track? no those are real cars in the photo. must be a driving school. firebird has a driving school lets look at that, oh there it is, must be forthe driving school!

As soon as I saw the pic, I knew it was Firebird – I did a class there last November. Highlight – aside from all the fun I had – was having the instructors take us out in vans to tour the facility, and having them run that training course at a decent enough pace that we were surprised the van didn’t flip. So much fun.

been a few years since i was down there and heard rumors that they changed the name to wild horse pass raceway or something like that. ties it to that casino nearby.
