I love the old Dodge Charger. I’d personally never drive one with General Lee livery. Now, I wouldn’t drive one painted like this either but I admire what this person has done here.
For the record, my own (someday) 1968 Dodge Charger would be gloss black with a satin black RT stripe on the tail. I’d also find a way to swap in 1969 Charger taillights. That car will happen someday… if I believe it, I’ll achieve it. Right?
Anyone? Okay, forget it. Just admire this General GRANT Charger.

The 34-star flag is a nice touch, although one could make a case for the 33-star version, which was still the official flag at the start of the war. (Yes, I’m from Oregon.)

I’m a Mopar fanatic – especially B bodies. BUT, in this case I’m much more interested in the ’69 or ’70 C/K 10/20 parked next to it, or the AMX, or the D100 Adventurer
The AMX, definitely.
Inquiring minds want to know .. to complete the anti-metaphor, does the horn play The Battle Hymn of the Republic?
When Johnny Comes Marching Home?
Or… Yankee Doodle, although thats a different war
This is absolutely spectacular.
I love it, and to really torque a Southerner, make it General Sherman and write “don’t make make come back there again” on a windshield banner.
Yeah, because war crimes are awesome.
Well played.
I get it. It’s clever. I don’t particularly like it though.
Theme song would have to change, although bad young girls might be a refreshing change from good old boys…
I always liked the mid-70s Aston Martin V8, and thought it’d be cool to put the Saltire on the roof of a blue one– General-Lee style with a late-18th-century twist.
