Tony Angelo’s V12-Swapped Fox Body Mustang Takes its First Run

By Jeff Glucker Jun 2, 2025

The Stay Tuned YouTube channel has been staying quite busy. The latest project? It involves swapping an Aston Martin V12 into the nose of a Fox Body Mustang. Tony Angelo and his team have been putting in long hours to get this thing on the road, and that’s just what happens in this latest installment of an awesome build series.

It’s definitely not ready for prime time just yet. But the car is running and driving. There’s quite a bit more work that needs to happen before it’s truly ready to rip. Tony and his crew are certainly up to that task, of course.

Of all the engine options available to swap into a Fox, this isn’t one I would’ve considered. It is, however, a pretty wild and awesome choice. That’s probably a fair bit of weight ahead of the front axle but the car will be a ripper regardless.

If you had the skills and shop/tools at your disposal, what would you put into a Fox Body Mustang? A stroked 302 is the easy answer, and certainly not a bad one. But if you could get a bit more insane, what mill would make you smile when you popped the hood on your imaginary Mustang? Sound off below.
