The family that Edsels together stays together. What’s amazing about this promo pic for Ford’s famous flop isn’t the incongruity of the slow-selling Edsel meeting another on the road. It’s instead the free-wheeling family that’s treating the car like a suburban ranch house- spread out and unburdened by seat belts or proper positioning. No wonder the Edsel didn’t see much repeat business.
