A killer heat wave has been baking much of India with temperatures reaching as high as 118° in some areas. Not only that, but you can bet it’s not a dry heat. So far the weather has been blamed for more than 1,300 deaths. It’s also taking its toll on the infrastructure as it’s hot enough to cause the roads to soften under the load of traffic as evidenced by this intersection near Delhi.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

Alright, who let the elephant eat the hot curry!
We had a fire at work yesterday (contaminated soil in a sinkhole caught on fire while someone was working on it) – I sort of defaulted to this once things calmed down. I just wished we e-mailed the fire department.
If this heat continues, India’s roads will start to look like Porsche 928 ‘Pasha’ seats.

‘Carlsson’s career began in the 1950s, with his first competitive
victory coming in the 1955 Rikspokalen at the wheel of a Saab 92 – a
marque to which he would remain loyal. In total, he won twelve rallies
for the Swedish manufacturer from 1955-’70, including the RAC Rally in
1960, ’61 and ’62, plus the Rallye Monte-Carlo in ’62 and ’63.
Carlsson married fellow rally driver Pat Moss, sister of that other great driver, Stirling Moss, in London in 1963, and within two years had co-authored The Art and Technique of Driving, featuring his pioneering left-foot-braking technique.’ Classic and SportsCar.

Sorry, didn’t see your post until just now. It’s a Bajaj 125 Discover ST.

Aw, shucks.
Funny thing is, I have no clue what the car is.
Looks a lot like some sort of Fiat Punto:

Good call! After googling “Fiat Punto India,” I think it’s a 2009-13 Grande Punto, which is made in India by a Tata Motors/Fiat joint venture.
