Follow Monster Tajima without choking on dirt!

Start your weekend off right with some Pikes Peak madness.
This Sunday, legendary driver Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima will be defending his all-time record of 10:01.408 at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. He will be squaring off against challengers like the equally legendary Rhys Millen, in his V8-powered Hyundai Genesis PM580, who has been making inroads on his time year after year. This year, he’s trading in his Suzuki Escudo, permanently ingrained into the minds of Gran-Turismo-playing youths the world over, and will be tackling the 12.42 treacherous miles up the mountain in an all-new Suzuki SX4 Hillclimb Special. With 910 horsepower from a twin-turbocharged 3.1-liter V6, from a wind-defined carbon fiber/Kevlar body weighing just 2,469lbs, Tajima is aiming for a sub-10 minute time up the 14,000+ feet, and around all 156 corners. But for now, he’s just enjoying some donuts.

The confectionery kind, not the asphalt kind.
Let’s all welcome Nobuhiro Tajima to the thrilling, edge-of-your-seat world of microblogging known as Twitter, where he’ll be updating with behind-the-scenes info on his team, preparing for the event, and the race itself, when he tries to break his own record with the first sub-1o minute time in the race’s 104-year history. And donuts. Mmm, Pikes Peak donuts. Nobuhiro Tajima (Monster_Tajima) on Twitter MONSTER SPORT
