Sometimes little details make or break a bike. This week, after a brief interlude for Eric and Garrett to swoon over the Ducati Desmosedici, we pick apart the multitude of minor changes that Harley made to change the existing 750 Street into the new Street Rod (spoiler, we like them). That prompts us to pay way too much attention to rear fenders of various bikes, including Ducatis and Can-Am Spyders. Finally, we look at all the details of the Yamaha XSR900, and why they drive us batty.

You have mentioned the SRX6 at least twice now, so let me share this one. My Dad bought it when it was a year old, parked it when I was about 6, then it sat for over 15 years, got lightly refreshed some time ago, ridden for one summer, and just rolled out of the shed three weeks ago.
Now that the garage is mostly done we’re working it get it back on the road, have ordered the parts required, but have not yet started it despite some cursory efforts. The only trouble for me is that before I go ride it I’ll need to get all new gear as I haven’t ridden in three years for some reason, that, and we live about 60 minutes from each other, so wrenching time is limited.
It really is a fun motorcycle, and deserves to be on the roads again, so I will be sure to update the progress!
