Encyclopedia Hoonatica: Centered Exhaust

Today’s encyclopedic journey starts with a late ’90s Camaro, pauses briefly at the modern Mini Cooper S, and takes off for points known only to our loyal commenting crew. What cars can you name with exhaust tips exiting the rear of the car along the vehicle’s centerline?

Please read through the comments before you post, and add one that has not been mentioned.
DIFFICULTY: somewhat quirky.

    1. THe center mounted exhaust was an extra-cost option on Camaros. A co-worker has a CME-equipped 35th Anniv. SS which was the inspiration for this topic.

  1. I don't have another example, but more obscure MINI knowledge:
The exhaust is in the center only on the Cooper S. The regular Cooper has a side exhaust and a spare tire! The Cooper S has run flat tires mainly because its exhaust is taking all the room where the spare would be…

  2. Lots of Lotuses as well:
    -Elan
    -Europa (new and old)
    -Evora
    -Elise
    -Exige
and some versions of the Esprit V8

    1. I didn't even notice that when I posted the picture. You're close! It is a pen mounted on a rig that slides back-to-front and side-to-side under acceleration, braking and cornering. And the thing was taken to Brands Hatch. Really cool, and I want to see the result.
The whole story (where I just kinda snatched the picture and ran :p): http://blog.niot.net/en/post/143983/cat+scratch+f
And credits go to niot:blog; good stuff!

  3. Lamborghini Diablo!

      1. I need another case of Mello Yellow & can't find it Manchester. Can you pick up a case or three for me?

        1. I just learned that it's apparently meant to be impossible to find any closer to here than Pennsylvania. Weird. I don't know how much stock they have where I picked it up; I suspect it was probably a fluke, but maybe if I buy it all up they'll get the hint…
Anyway, the market in question is here. I'll check out the local Shaw's and Market Basket the next time I'm by as well.
