Classically cool is a term you can’t slap on just anything. This one fits the bill, though. This is the 2025 Morgan Plus Four, which pairs gorgeous vintage lines with modern power under the skin. You can now buy one of these here in the States, and you probably won’t run into another one out on the road.

Morgan is allowed to bring over just 325 examples per year, as the Plus Four falls into US-legality via the FAST Act. Each one packs BMW B48 power under that lovely long hood. The engine is a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder good for 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. Your only choice of gearbox here in the States is a ZF 8-speed. Back across the pond, the Plus Four is also offered with a manual gearbox, but opting for that drops the torque down a bit.

Driving the Morgan is a delight. The steering is properly hefty and direct. Your torque peaks down low, the gearbox shifts quickly enough, and the brakes easily haul everything back down to safe speeds when needed. This Plus Four may have under 300 hp, but it’s light enough to boast a better power-to-weight ratio than a base Porsche 718.

A car like this won’t be inexpensive, of course. These start at around $92,000. You can option them in all sorts of colors inside and out, add a rear luggage rack, upgrade the rear suspension setup, and even add in-cabin features like heated seats and a Bluetooth-enabled Sennheiser sound system.

The price of entry is high. But compared to other sports cars at or above this price range, the Morgan has a touch of extra class that other cars can’t touch.
