Mystery Car – Bonus Thursday Edition

mystery car

Rob’s awesome Mystery Car series runs every Friday at noon (EST). With a few exception his cars are old, rare, and obscure. Today, because we’re low on time and content, I present to you a special edition of Mystery Car. This edition is different, however, because I did not blur anything out and it’s no mystery that it is a relatively new vehicle.

Same rules apply, make, model, engine. The winner gets a few +’s, and a virtual pat on the back.

    1. Obviously the F1 light back there was the give away, but the large rear over hang had me looking for something a bit more bloated.
      Strange car, but sounds great!

    2. Right you are.
Diffuser on a SUV, does it have any effect, probably not and that roof spoiler seems pointless, too.

    3. please explain to me why it's a vettel edition SUV
why, Infiniti, why do you do this? Why would you make that, and not a Vettel Edition G or M or …Q?

      1. Haha, It really was that F1 light that gave it away for me. Not many modern autos have that. If the rear tire was burred it would have been harder to see the large overhang, which lead me to a wagon/SUV/CUV segment. Then I just had to think of F1 connected manufacturers who make wagons/SUVs/CUVs. (I did have to research what engine was in that thing though.)
Still took some thought though, so good choice since this model so obscure. I still had fun playing. :–D

  1. Low on content? I take it you don't like my Found on the Street: Vanuatu Edition submitted last month. 😛
Side note: Infinitis have just started appearing in Australia (not including the very unpopular and now almost vanished Q45 sold here in the 90s) . Things don't seem to be going well for the brand. Zero marketing will do that…

    1. Which one? There is a million things coming in everyday… and by million, I mean like ten. I may have missed it or perhaps I used it in my V.I.S.I.T. post?
I've been low on time (2 kids, day job) and my writing pririties are my own stories as opposed to what people send in on tips.
