So, how are you doing in your office’s NCAA pool? Advancing? Already dropped out? Well, that’s okay because we have another contest for you to play. That’s right, it’s Friday and that means the little weekly time killer to keep your mind off all those TPS reports stacking up on your desk.

And just like college basketball and office politics, we have rules by which to play. In order to win, you need to come up with the make, model, year-range and likely engine under the hood. That’s not so tough, especially if you ask your boss to help.

        1. It was built 1952-1955, but the mystery car is a 1954 (probably) powered by a 4.5l inline 6. It was a stonking fast car in its day.

          1. Congrats all on a 'group effort". This particular one belongs to a family friend, George Chilburg, who bought the car decades ago. His wife refused to speak to him for a week after the purchase, but has warmed to the car now that it's worth mid-six figures.

      1. Really? Well, the one in the photo, JAS 949, is a 1954, so I'll go with that. Number_Six has already specified the engine (and likely year).

      1. I think if it hasn't been sussed out by the following Friday, that the answer should be posted.

  1. 1950-58 Lancia Aurelia B20GT powered by a Lancia V6 engine displacing either 2 or 2.5 liters.
