Last Call: The Dakar Rally just got a little more interesting

By Colby Buchanan Oct 26, 2020

As if there weren’t enough things to like about the Dakar Rally, they have just added a high jump challenge. I’ll admit that I haven’t seen all that much Dakar racing over the years but I know that this is a solid jump. With this new challenge, I’m curious to see if this will be something that people go out of their way to beat. Or, it might end up just being on one of those random facts Mr. Andrey Karginov can brag about because no one cares to beat him. Are you excited for Dakar 2021?

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

  1. I just ordered a bunch of sound deadening material for the 4Runner. Having adopted that overland interstate road trip lifestyle, cutting the decibels from road noise seems a prudent use of a weekend or two.
