Last Call: The BMW M8 is one of the best looking cars of today

By Colby Buchanan Jun 29, 2020

The lines on the M8 I would say represent what a true BMW should look like. It’s wide, it’s long and is striking from every single angle. On top of this, because the new 4 series will look the way it does, it will make people like this even more since it doesn’t have the massive grille.

This M8 is also a competition making it even cooler and I am in love with this paint color. The carbon fiber works so well with the black and chrome on the wheels it all flows together perfectly. While this may sound like I’m annoying I really am not a BMW guy or really a German car guy in general. Let me know what you think! I feel like most people agree that its a beautiful car but I’m curious about any objections.

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.

    1. Holden a minute and let me check. Mate, 8 years ago they killed it. But My Wallet would be willing to finance another one if Given Motivation.

    2. Damn, but those are attractive cars– there’s a strong E39 vibe, and I like it. I wish I’d been in a position to pick one up, but at the time we’d just had offspring #3 and my wife was only green-lighting minivans.

  1. I think the Bentley Continental GT is better looking, but the 8-Series still has a ton of presence.

That said, I want to see BMW’s as upright, with as much greenhouse as the 2002, E9, or E30.

  2. Beauty is in the eye of the beer-holder as they say. The M8 is generically good looking but still has a humorless business class mustang vibe about it.

  3. I’d frame it as “the least ugly current BMW model” which is just damning with faint praise.
