The Subaru Impreza sport wagon served as the basis for what was perhaps the world’s oddest manufacturer mashup, the Saabaru 9-2X. If that Japan-built Swede still doesn’t peg your weirdo meter then perhaps the Casa Blanca special edition will. Intended to ride the wave of popularity Japanese retro-mobiles were enjoying in the late ’90s, the Casa Blanca added a bug-eyed and be-chromed front end to the standard Impreza wagon. Thankfully, it was JDM-only.
