Let’s continue on with the Weekend Edition of Quick Hits, and I have to ask this question… Would you want, desire, or even covet a 1982 Chevrolet Chevette, equipped with the bare essentials and an Automatic, that has only ever been driven 380 miles? Now here is your chance to own what is probably the last new Chevrolet Chevette available for sale. Is it even remotely collectible?
This Chevette is ready to cross the Auction Block at the Raleigh Classic, scheduled to be held on June 19-21 of this year. What is really interesting is the fact that there are some rather unique cars that have appeared within these very pages in the past, like this 1980 Datsun 280-ZX, or this 1950 Studebaker Starlight Commander Coupe. But it is this Chevette that caught my attention this time, and according to the Auction Site:
100% original except for battery. Purchase includes all paperwork from new including original window sticker, warranty books and original dealer installed paper floor mats. Options include automatic transmission and white wall tires.
It is also unusual for the Auction Company not to disclose an estimate on what they think this car will be sold for. My guess is they really don’t have a clue as to what it is worth. Want to take a guess? See the listing here, and let me know what you think!
