Last Call: How’d they find this picture of me for the service manual?

I’m on the internets, minding my own business. My current search involves sniffing out service and technical manuals for my Mitsubishi Montero. There’s a nice clean scan of one designated as a chassis, electrical, and body manual. And right on one of the first pages, I see it… a picture of me! Who else could that be? The arms are crossed, the eyes are staring, the tools are cleaner than you’d expect, and the familiar question mark hangs over my head.

That’s definitely me.

Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is accepted and encouraged.

  1. …trying very hard to imagine how this doesn’t end with $500 in more parts and another weekend lost

    1. That was fun. That was the first time I was ever on camera I believe… and it was live, on-air, on a major LA news morning station.
