Welcome to the Sunday Edition of the Hooniverse Weekend. It looks like the long winter here in the Northeast is finally showing signs of moderating, and for most motorheads, this is the time of year that we think about a new project to take the place of the other projects that still haven’t been finished yet. And what better project to dive into that a 60’s fiberglass kit car (of which only a few were made) mounted on an equally quirky MG Chassis, with a Volvo Engine. Sounds like another Winner to me…

This is a 1966 Fiberfab Banshee Kit Car that… Well, I think I will let the listing speak for itself:

1966 Fiberfab Banshee – on MGA chassis … Volvo P1800 engine … not running … very rare 1 of 12 … cash or will trade for Mustang Fastback, 50’s-63 Alfa Spyder, or something else interesting. Serious Parties only please!

The listing is rather short, and it does not include an asking price. I did manage to pull an image from the Your Garage portion of the Jay Leno’s Garage Site, and it looks like the MGA Chassis was a 1959 version. Is the car a runner? How much work will it take to get it running? Is there anything missing? I haven’t got a clue…
