Well, I was once again looking at the Wagons HO! Facebook Page, and discovered a couple of interesting wagons offered on Craigslist. One is a project while the other is ready to go, but are they even remotely desirable? Why not make the jump and find out…
Let’s start with this 1953 Chevrolet Townsman Wagon painted School Bus Yellow. This is an all steel wagon that with a little bit of paint can look like a classic woodie, and according to the listing:
1953 chevy townsman 9 passenger station-wagon big 6 cylinder , automatic trans , ran when I parked it , all there, used to be a school bus in New Mexico , have all pieces ( no title ).
The price is $4,000 firm, and that is quite a lot for a non runner. but wat do you think? See the listing here.
Our next contestant is this customized 1964 Ford Falcon Squire, and quite unlike the Chevy, it appears to be quite complete. According to the listing:
this is a super nice rare squire wagon. has 302 with c4 trans. runs great, solid body, zero rust. heater works, power back window works, great beach cruzer!
The asking price for this Squire Wagon is $12,500, which seems reasonable, but again, what do you think? See the listing here.
