The purveyors of vehicular mayhem that are Hoonigan got their hands on a new Chevrolet crate engine. It’s that monster mill sitting at 632 cubic-inches and delivering 1,000 horsepower. What did Hoonigan put it in? A third-gen Camaro, of course.
This car is a SEMA build as Chevy is eager to show off its new mega crate motor. Putting it in an older Camaro is a great touch, as is the circle-track-grade air cleaner on top. The engine fires up and sounds absurd. It’s a beast of a thing, and I look forward to watching it twist that Camaro into a pretzel in the best way possible.
If you want to see the finished car, check it out here:
Okay, I’m okay with third gens being poised to have a moment very soon, just so long as everyone forgets about the LT1 fourth gens long enough I have a shot at one.
Good luck… everyone is apparently buying everything.
(Except Monteros and Old Jags… I am the opposite of a trend setter, haha)
Heh, I like old Jags too, so if you’re lucky, my inability to buy any time soon will drive the value of those up.
SN95 (mid-90’s) Mustangs still seem pretty unloved too.
