Wagon Wednesday: This Dodge Monaco Delivers the Goods

By Jeff Glucker Sep 4, 2024

It’s Wednesday, which means I opened up a tab in my browser, went to Craigslist, and simply typed in “wagon.” The results today are rather wonderful thanks to this truly glorious 1973 Dodge Monaco. I’ve never seen one in this color combo with the excellent stripe work, and I’m absolutely in love. It helps that there’s a 440 under the hood, low mileage, and perfect at the corners in the form of the 15″ steel wheels.

That said, a vehicle like this won’t be cheap. The asking price sits at $27,500. That’s a lot of coin, but this may very well be one of the cleaner examples out there. Plus, you’re not likely to run across another with this same livery and style. As I asked yesterday, what does expensive mean anymore, anyway?

Here’s the link to the full listing if you want to daydream about a pretty great way to rid yourself of nearly $30k…

  1. that is ridiculously clean. if this is really an unrestored survivor, someone must have kept this in a sealed can in their fallout shelter.
