This is a Pretty Entertaining Torture Test of a Tesla Cybertruck

WhistlinDiesel has made a name for himself over on YouTube. He beats the crap out of lots of different vehicles in lots of different ways. Some love him, others hate him. But at the end of the day, some of the content coming out of his massive channel can be entertaining as hell. For example, he finally got his hands on a Tesla Cybertruck and he’s decided to put it through a gauntlet of abuse.

It’s not just the Tesla that has to endure this pain, though, as the crew also lined up a Ford F-150. Still, the very first test is just charging the Cybertruck which proved to be a bit of an ordeal. Well, the actual first test involved driving both backward off a tow truck, but then it was on to charging. Once the electrons were capped off, WhistlinDiesel set out to beat the crap out of both vehicles.

Almost immediately, the F-150 snapped a driveshaft due to being dumped off the tow truck. That was fixed, but then the Tesla basically saw its rear subframe torn to pieces when it had to tow the F-150. It was most likely damaged when it took a super hard hit during a pretty steep drop.

From there, there’s a bit of off-roading and then actual destruction of the body and glass on both vehicles. All told, I think the Ford did pretty well. The Cybertruck is certainly quicker, but that’s not a surprise. The rear subframe shearing off was a bit of a shock, but the hit it took was substantial.

Look, I know a lot of what WhistlinDiesel does is fairly juvenile, but it’s also pretty mindless fun. He’s out there doing it in a place where the only people they could hurt are themselves. They’re doing ridiculous things to a ridiculous vehicle. So it’s fine to take a moment out of your day, and give parts of the video a watch.

Also, the time he put giant wagon wheels on a Model 3 was funny as hell…
