We don’t get the 300-Series Land Cruiser here in the States. Well… we sort of do, it’s just not wearing a Toyota badge. The Lexus LX700h Overtrail has arrived to fill in the void of the full-size Cruiser. And I’m happy to say it does a pretty darn good job at filling those shoes.
The Lexus LX700h Overtrail packs great power, excellent capability, and a wonderful interior space behind its sharp, boxy lines. The front could still use some cleaning up, but the rest of the truck looks fantastic. Especially with its chunky all-terrain tires at the corners.
Would an owner cringe at the thought of adding some trail pinestripes to the lovely paint? I’d imagine so. But they shouldn’t. Wear it like the badge of honor that it is, especially for someone who understands what they’ve purchased. It has Lexus badging, but the heart of adventure that exists inside all of the Toyota family’s true off-road capable vehicles.
This LX700h Overtrail is one of those vehicles.
