Last Call- Not So Demure Club De Mer Edition

I’m embarrassed to admit that while I am well familiar with the 1956 Motorama concept, the Pontiac Club De Mer, I have in fact never seen the car from the back. What strikes me, having finally seen it from this angle is how similar it appears to the contemporary Mercedes Benz 300 SL. In fact, aside from the shark fin aggressively rising above the swooping tail as though through a breaking wave, there’s not much that’s all that wilder than the production German.
Last Call indicates the end of Hooniverse’s broadcast day. It’s meant to be an open forum for anyone and anything. Thread jacking is not only accepted, it’s encouraged.
