Needless to say that while many of us here on the West coast have been enjoying unseasonably good weather and rugged good looks, much of the country has been plunged into a deep freeze. As this Redditor discovered, another indignity is the inability is having your car’s death mask left behind after a lengthy stint in a parking lot after an ice storm. That or Wonder Woman is in town for a convention.

So I just learned that well known Japanese director Nagisa Oshima directed a promotional video for the Isuzu Bellett. Interesting given that he's mostly known for stuff like In the Realm of the Senses, and the stories don't sound very car promo-y. But unfortunately it's not easy to find and while there were screenings in New York that's not a place where I live.
I don't know what the modern equivalent would be. David Lynch for the Toyota Corolla? Abdellatif Kechiche for the Nissan Sentra?
This awesome thing happens once, and then it's not a Maserati, not an Aston Martin, not an Alfa Romeo, not a Jaguar F-Type, no it HAS to be a Jeep Cherokee.
