I’m going to do things a little differently this time. We received a tip from Tim (Thanks Man) alerting us to this particular auction that was up on a Craigslist Ad. I’m going to show the two images that were in said listing to see if you Hoons can ID the cars. I’m not going to promise any swag if you can ID the most, but I might get Jeff and Tim to cough up something (Ewww, Gross!)
Here is picture #1
and Here is Picture #2
Here is a copy of the listing.
And go here if you want to take a look at the original ad, if its still up.
I see a '63 Studebaker Lark right next to a Mustang II notchback, a Porsche 944(?) and a couple of MG Midgets. That's all that jumps out at me. There are others I'm sure I could easily identify with a better picture.
Rover 2000
Fiat 131 (two)
Porsche 924
1950s Mercedes 180/190
Studebaker Lark
Peugeot 404 Wagon
MGB
Hillman Husky
Hillman Minx Estate
Mustang II
Truimph TR4
Sprite/Midget (two)
What they said up there plus a sandblasting cabinet.
damn beat me to it. I wonder what grit they have inside that beastie?
What grit is dust? Looks like they have plenty of that.
Isn't that a Citroen DS wagon next to the Mercedes?
Good call. I had mis-identified that as a Peugeot 404, but I didn't note the tailfin.
Good eyes all around. To add to the list …
I see second Mercedes 180/190s and Rover 2000s
Volvo 260 series
Kamm Tail Alfa
Fiat Kombi
Ford Fiesta
Must resist urge to purchase DS Wagon . . . .
I arrived late to this party but it looks like my fellow Hoons have done it again. Congrats!
I sent an email about the DS wagon . . . . . .
I have been seeing a lot of 924's lately. There is a S4 around here that always catches my eye..
Is this really an auction? What a mess.. It seems that this cars were being dumped.
