We get right into it… I sold the Jag. My 1986 Jaguar XJ6 with the Chevy V8 swap was offered for sale on Cars and Bids, and the auction result was awesome. The car has now traded hands and my garage is empty for the time being. It’s time to focus on the Montero and maybe finally get the Mercedes wagon up and running. After we talk about the Jag, we move into the Instagram questions.

I know you never really “clicked” with the Jag, and so that makes it easier to part ways with.
I don’t think I would ever list a car at Cars and Bids if I wanted to get top dollar, but I think this particular sale worked out pretty well for you. I’m surprised that you didn’t post something here before the auction ended, to potentially attract some additional bidding.
Yeah, I thought about it – but I feel weird using the platform for that. Which is a dumb thought, really. But I will write up what it was like to sell on C&B.
