Hooniverse Asks: Do You Like the Restyled 2027 Kia Telluride?

By Jeff Glucker Nov 10, 2025

As soon as it arrived, the Kia Telluride proved to be a sales hit for the automaker. It got a light refresh a few years ago. Today, however, it’s getting a total makeover. It’s longer, both in total length and wheelbase, gets new exterior styling, and the cabin gets a fresh makeover as well. I personally get serious Range Rover vibes from that rear angle, but that’s not a bad thing. In fact, I think the new Telluride looks great.

I will say, the grille looks better in person compared to how it presents in photos. Those fender lines look pretty excellent. And as I said earlier, the rear angle gives the new Telluride serious presence. Open the door, and you’ll find an almost shockingly nice interior space. There’s a nice amount of ambient lighting. Up front, the seats are offered with a breathable mesh headrest. And Kia utilizes real metal, faux wood that looks the part, and even offers proper color options on certain trims.

Kia is currently mum on powertrain options. It’s safe to assume, however, that there will be a turbo hybrid version and a 3.5-liter V6 Telluride on offer. No word on price or on sale date yet, but Kia is likely to spill more beans when the LA Auto Show rolls around later this month.
