There’s not just a new vehicle being revealed tonight, but a whole new automaker. The company goes by the name Slate. So far, we know that the plan seems to involve electric trucks that start in the neighborhood of $25,000. If this leads to the notion that said vehicle will be a sort of blank “slate” for customization and personalization all at an enticing price, you can color me curious.
We will know more this evening when we get our first real look at what Slate is doing. Until then, I am curious if you’re curious about what’s going on here. Is the idea intriguing to you? Are you out because Jeff Bezos is involved? Is this another example of a company promising affordable transportation in a modular package that never delivers?
