In case you looked at the Buick photos closely, you might’ve seen a Saab next to it. That’s only half the truth, as there were two classic-shape Saab 900:s there – a dark blue convertible and a grey turbo coupe. They seem to be enthusiast cars, not least due to the plate holders.
The convertible is a 1993 900S, with the low-pressure 140hp turbo engine. Its bumpers have been used for bumping, but it appears clean enough. Both of the cars have very attractive three-spoke wheels, which suit the grey plastic cladding perfectly. The ones on the convertible are more propeller-shaped, while the coupe has simpler, straighter ones.
The grey coupe is a 1991 175hp turbo S, and I really like it. It’s my blueprint turbo Saab idea, with the exact colour and spec I’d like, complete with the oxblood interior.
These are appreciating in value, as a black Aero one I saw for sale on mobile.de commanded 10 000 eur.
Not the most common combination of three cars, and it gives a nice idea of the wide scope of cars you might see in Amsterdam.

As the owner of a black '91 900, this post makes me happy
Ahhh, a Saab convertible with a hydraulic top that actually works.
Not that I'm bitter about being involved with a '98 900S vert with the notoriously bad and very broken mechanical top that's forever stuck in the up position. Until I bother hotwiring and hacking it to make it manual. Perhaps a project log for the forums when I get around to it this summer?
Yes. Write it. Not that many here will ever own Cabrio Saab, but it would be exactly that obscure but interesting story suitable for Hooniverse.
"Classic" 900 convertible top hydraulics are reasonably straightforward to work with and fix, if needed. In a pinch, those tops could be manually operated. The '94-98 ragtops… yeech–the electrics, servos and switches make one of Rube Goldberg's creations look simple. Now, that 900 TurboS (SPG in the 'States) is very pretty, and the '91-93 9000 Turbo/Aero rims look great on this car.
I have always been turned off by the three-spokes that most Saabs wear :/
I mean Volvo designs tons of beautiful wheel styles, you'd think the other Swede would have similar options
