Welcome to the Sunday Edition of the Hooniverse Weekend, and I thought I would start out with the Milk Chocolate Brown C4 Corvette I found at the Brown Car Appreciation Society Facebook Page(Where Else?). This is a color that isn’t usually associated with the Corvette during this time period, and to be quite frank, I don’t think it really works that well, but what the hell do I know… Have a look at it for yourself… According to the Central New Jersey Craigslist Listing:
1984 Chevrolet Corvette, 59,000 Org Mi. Automatic, 2 Owner Unmolested, Completely STOCK. Bronze with Bronze interior; this 1984 Corvette is a fully optioned, all original, unmolested example of an early C4. Never in an accident, EVERYTHING works as it should, including the Crossfire injection. It’s a true 2 owner car. It has a removable top panel, with new head-liner. AC blows cold, all power windows and door locks work. The dash is nice, bright and clean. The leather seats are beautiful, soft with no rips or stains and work perfectly. The carpets are clean and not faded as are the door panels. The headlights and fog lights work perfectly. The car has been in dry storage for 8 years, as the previous owner was saving it for future use as a classic. Then when he lost his storage space, he decided it was time to sell. When removed from storage, all fluids were replaced; car received a full tune up, brake fluid flush, new brake pads, new battery and 4 BF Goodrich Comp TA tires. The paint is clear, shiny and in extremely good condition; there is not a scratch or imperfection on this car! If you are looking for a clean, original, unmolested example of an early C4, with functioning Crossfire injection and one where every single item is working as it should, then this Corvette is for you. Clean, low mileage originals are getting harder to come by.
Asking price for the Bronze Bombshell is $6,800, which isn’t really bad at all. Yes, the color is unusual, but it is original to the car. Anyway, there are far too many Red Corvettes of this vintage, so why not take a look at the listing here, and tell me what you think of this little Brown Corvette.
