Welcome to the Sunday Edition of the Hooniverse Weekend, where I continue to find crazy yet interesting vehicles on Craigslist (and other sites) for your Quick Hit enjoyment. I found this Gem over at the Future $500 race cars! Even if the owner doesn’t know it yet Facebook Page, and as a previous owner of a 90’s Escort, all I can say is wow… 
It looks like this Escort started out as a GT with the Mazda Twin-Cam DOHC 1.8L BP I4 that produced 127HP, which was a considerable step up from the base 1.9L engine that only produced 88HP. But this car has been taken to a whole new level, and according to the listing:

From the Questionable Body Kit, to the Outrageous Rear Wing, this is one Escort that had every body and trim panel modified in some form or another, and not all of them have been successful. I will give points for that cockeyed rear plate placement, and deduct points for the puke green interior bits, but I have to say that these particular “enhancements” belong back in the 90’s… Where they should stay…
