Welcome to another Weekend Edition here on the Hooniverse, and I thought I would start with this time capsule I discovered on Craigslist. This is a Dodge Colt Vista Wagon from 1987, produced by Chrysler’s Japanese Partner at the time, Mitsubishi. In other markets around the world, this was a Mitsubishi Chariot, and it was an extremely versatile wagon for it’s time. You could almost say it was a Mini-Minivan, which pre-dates the current Mazda 5. So, it this Chariot for you? According to the Houston Craigslist Listing:
This 1987 Dodge Colt Vista Wagon with only 53 original miles is an incredible find! The car was in a storage unit among several other cars and it came from a car-dealer that went out of business a few years ago. Miles are accurate and the car has original window sticker, clean title and it has been recently serviced!
It is dressed in the best of the 80’s colors… Mauve, and Cranberry. It really makes you think back and ask why were these colors so prevalent back then? Did good taste just evaporate? Anyway, the asking price for this time warp is $9,500, which really isn’t a bad price if all the servicing was done to replace all the perishables. See the Craigslist Listing here, and tell me what you think about this Vista.
